Our team of practitioners is equipped with the skills and tools necessary to perform these procedures. Minor surgeries at our centre include vasectomies, skin lesion removal, laceration repairs, ingrown toenail surgery, and other procedures that can be conducted under local anaesthesia. We prioritise patient comfort and well-being throughout the process, from initial consultation to post-procedure care.

Our commitment to quality care extends beyond the surgical procedure itself. Following any minor surgery, our team provides comprehensive aftercare instructions, support for pain management, and wound care advice. Eaton & Australind Medical Centre’s minor surgery services are an integral part of our holistic approach to healthcare, aiming to address immediate health issues while contributing to the long-term well-being of our patients. By providing these services within our centre, we uphold our mission to offer quality health care for the whole community, treating all patients with dignity and respect.

Types of Minor Surgeries We Offer

At Eaton & Australind Medical Centre, the range of minor surgeries we offer is extensive, catering to a variety of health needs and conditions. Our practitioners perform procedures such as excision of skin lesions, including moles, warts, and cysts. We also perform surgical removal of skin cancers, utilising techniques that focus on complete removal while preserving surrounding healthy tissue. Another commonly performed procedure is the removal of ingrown toenails, which provides relief and prevents further infection or complications.

Beyond dermatological procedures, our minor surgery services also include musculoskeletal interventions such as joint injections for conditions like arthritis, providing pain relief and increased mobility. Each type of minor surgery we offer is supported by thorough pre-procedure consultations and post-operative care, ensuring that patients are fully informed and comfortable throughout their treatment journey.

The versatility of our minor surgery services reflects our commitment to comprehensive patient care. By offering a broad spectrum of procedures, we are able to address a wide range of health concerns, reducing the need for external referrals and hospital visits. Our aim is to provide convenient, high-quality surgical care that meets the needs of our community, ensuring that each patient receives the treatment they require in a timely and supportive manner.

Our Approach to Minor Surgery

Our approach to minor surgery at Eaton & Australind Medical Centre is rooted in a philosophy of holistic, patient-centred care. We prioritise clear communication, compassionate care, and personalised treatment plans for each individual. From the initial consultation, we take the time to discuss the procedure in detail, including what to expect during and after the surgery, and to answer any questions or concerns our patients may have. This open dialogue helps to alleviate anxiety and ensures that patients are fully prepared for their procedure.

Safety and comfort are paramount in our delivery of minor surgery services. All procedures are performed under strict sterile conditions, using local anaesthesia to minimise pain and discomfort. Our practitioners use the latest techniques and equipment. We also place emphasis on aftercare, providing patients with detailed instructions for home care and making ourselves available to address any post-operative concerns. Our comprehensive approach ensures that patients feel supported and confident in the care they receive at every stage of the process.

We are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in medical technology and surgical techniques. By integrating these advancements into our practice, we can treat a broad range of medical conditions through our minor surgeries.
