Dr Scheelings completed her postgraduate medical degree at Notre Dame University in Western Australia in 2016 following a career as a Paramedic with Queensland Ambulance Service.
She gained a range of medical and surgical specialty experience over several years within WA hospitals, including SCGH, Karratha health campus and Perth Children’s Hospital. She also worked with Silver Chain Palliative Care service, which has enriched a passion for Palliative Care within the community. Janneke is also a MS-2step prescriber for medical termination of pregnancy.
Janneke loves the holistic aspect of General Practice and the variety of patients who walk through the door.
Outside of work, she loves spending time entertaining her two girls and two Labradors and enjoying the outdoors with her family.
